I got my tragus pierced little over a month ago and now its really swollen?

and i think i might have a keloid because there are two bumps on each tragus. not to mention it hurts pretty badly. its sore to the touch and whenever i smile or laugh it radiates through my ears. Today was cleaning it and kinda squeezed and this green yellow goop came out of it. it looked like i just popped a zit in my ear. really gross. when i got it dont the piercer guy told me it shoudn't swell since its cartlidge. but im looking it up on the web and a lot of people say swelling is normal. im totally lost and dont know what to do. should i take it out? is there a new way to take care of it i dont know of? is this a sign of infection? HELP!
