Wedding reception ideas for 15 - 20 guests?

I am getting married February 2010 and I found a local botanical garden that I can have my ceremony. I am really just stuck on the reception part of the wedding. I was thinking I can have a buffet style reception at a local restaurant with a few candles on the table and maybe a few vases of flowers and we can get a small wedding cake. I want it to be mostly casual. I guess my question is do you think that would be ok and not too boring for that few amount of people.
