Amazon Prime Japan Shipping to the U.S.?

Through an unforeseen cirstance my friend now has a subscription to Amazon Prime Japan. Before he actually uses it and loses his chance for a refund he wants to be sure that the free two day shipping applies to international addresses and that the time frame is still the same, as it would be pointless to keep the subscription if its not. Anyone in the U.S. have any experience with Amazon Prime Japan?
