Help with tropical freshwater fish selection?

the pleco and bala get way to big for a 29, a group of tigers and gouramis are good though, I had 7 tigers, 2 gouramis and a couple cories in one of my tanks before, with barbs though you need to make sure you keep as many as you can or they'll be nippy towards other fish, 6 is a good minimum nuber for them. Good community fish are guppies, tetras, cories, gouramis, swordtails, platies, mollies, barbs and killifish. Look into different kinds of those and come up with a good combo, they're all colorful, beautiful fish and most (except tetras) are hardy enough to survive the cycle. check out some website like fishlore.com, theaquariumwiki.com and badmanstropicalfish.com to look at some pictures and profiles.
